Back in 2018 I was brought in to help the MapleStory M team as production and publishing efforts ramped up. I supported the launch and ongoing marketing of the game, while also assisting with other titles.

I worked on a wide variety of web and social media marketing materials for in-game updates and live events, both pre- and post-launch. My deep familiarity with the brand quickly made me a valuable contributor during brainstorming and planning sessions.
This was a particularly meaningful project for me—not only because I had the chance to collaborate with some of the best talent in the gaming industry, but also because of the close connection the team had with the community during the early stages. I was even invited to participate in several livestreams and Discord sessions, where players began referring to me as “Artist Kirdein,” named after my in-game character.
Special Anniversary Promotional Projects
New York – Time Square Billboards | For these, I created the artwork used in the billboards, while the motion graphics were handled by my former colleague and good friend, Norv Dera—a past member of the Nexon America video team. I designed the visuals at HD resolution, carefully considering how each piece would be animated and displayed across different formats and spaces.
SDCC Bus Wrap Anniversary Activation
San Diego Comi-Con | For MapleStory M’s 4th Anniversary, I was tasked with designing the visual assets for a branded bus that circulated around the convention center. This project presented a unique and rewarding challenge—developing a cohesive bus wrap layout while also planning and producing the animated content for the side-mounted LCD panels. I handled both the static design and motion graphics to ensure the visuals were eye-catching and aligned with the anniversary campaign.
