Maplestory Merchandise
Following the success of the first two keycaps I designed for MapleFest 2023, I received requests for additional designs featuring other iconic game mascots. The third and fourth concepts were Yeti and Slime; however, only the Slime keycap went into production. Here’s a few views of the 3D model I designed for the keycap.
Here’s a closer look at the keycap design after the vendor made edits to align with their print requirements.
It’s still available for purchase on the Hyper X merch store.
Here’s another set I was asked to design and 3D model, inspired by the in-game Omok items from MapleStory. The full set included eight keycaps. During the final stages, we followed the vendor’s design recommendation for the Omok table to ensure it would fit the keyboard properly. As a result, the final table design differs slightly from my original concept.
Finalized Omok keycap set design.

I had the opportunity to design for a limited-edition drop of special MapleStory apparel in collaboration with Champion. The collection—featuring exclusive hoodies and t-shirts—sold out within minutes of its release. It was incredibly rewarding to see such a positive response, and even more surreal to spot people proudly wearing the pieces at that year’s MapleStory Fest. As part of the design phase, I developed over a dozen unique concepts, each exploring different visual directions, themes, and character integrations that reflected the MapleStory brand. Throughout multiple rounds of internal review and feedback, I refined the work based on input from stakeholders across design, marketing, and brand teams. These four final designs emerged as the strongest—striking the right balance between fan appeal, brand alignment, and production feasibility.
I’ve done several designs mostly for giveaways. I’ve done acrylic and 3D keychains inspired by several characters and mascots.
